Bayern Munich had Arturo Vidal and Thomas Muller to thank as they fought to a 2-2 draw with Benfica, a result which was enough to send them through to the Champions League semi-final.
Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, the Portuguese side enjoyed a dream start when Raul Jimenez headed them level on aggregate.
Vidal struck back before half-time to restore the Bavarians' advantage, however, and a typically predatory finish from Muller meant Anderson Talisca's goal was not enough to put the hosts back in the game.
