English Premier League club, Chelsea FC returned to their Cobham training base for the first day of pre-season training on Monday, July 11th.
Club captain, John Terry took to his Instagram page and posted a photo of himself and a number of Chelsea stars to celebrate the start of the new Antonio Conte era at the Stamford Bridge club.
In the photo shared on social media, Terry highlighted the presence of a number of players in his post, including returning player; Victor Moses, who spent last season on loan with West Ham. Young players, Kenedy, Bertrand Traore, Baba Rahman, as well as old players, Mikel Obi, Willian, Oscar, etc were also back in training.
The Chelsea players had breakfast at 9:00am in the morning before undergoing initial tests to check their fitness upon returning from their summer break. After lunch, they went out to the practice fields at Cobham for their first session of pre-season.
According to Dailymail UK, new manager, Antonio Conte was expected to be in attendance at the training ground to oversee preparations for the new Premier League season.
