Some group of Nigerian researchers have called on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government to take measures that could reduce the effects of the earthquake that has been predicted for some states in the country.

Dr. Adepelumi Adekunle Abraham, who led researchers from the Department of Geology, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has submitted its report titled “Preliminary Assessment of Earth Tremor Occurrence in Shaki Area, Shaki West Local Government, Oyo State, indicating an impending ‘damaging earthquake” in the next four years.
